Q&A 1.11.20

Got a great question this week about addiction, but that’s going to require a longer and more thoughtful post.  In the meantime, here are some more rapid responses to some personal questions so you can get to know a little more about me.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

It depends on the day, I think.  Sometimes I’d tell you that I’d be perfectly happy if I had a million dollars. It might be being on vacation, especially at Disney World, where the crowds were minimal and I could ride whatever I wanted over and over.  Perfect happiness might be seeing a really great musical, with redemption for all characters.  But sometimes I’m perfectly happy when the bleu cheese dip outlasts the boneless wings and celery.

What is your greatest fear?

Heights.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Patience.  I don’t wait well.

On what occasion do you lie?

I really try not to, but sometimes I choose silence or very careful words after a mediocre performance or if someone has a wrong opinion that I know would be hurtful for me to challenge.  And I think my driver’s license still says 325lbs.

I look forward to answering more as well as writing some feature-length responses to your deeper questions.  Keep em coming! (Email me.)
